1.why did Dasarada summon the courtiers?
To Declare his wish to pass on the crown to Rama.
2.How was the response?
Unanimuse acclaim.
3.Who was frustrated on hearing the news?
Manthara ,the hunch back and old maid servant of Kaikeyi.
4. What did she do?
She succeded in chanching the mind of Kaikeyee by saying that Kaikeyee rank in the royal household would go down.
5. What was her plan to stop the Coronation?
Kaikeyee was promised Two boons by Dasaratha ,in Sambarasura battle.Manthra advised Kaikeyee to ask for those boon then.
6.What were the two boons that Kaikeyee asked?/P>
The banishment of Rama to the forest for fourteen years.
The granting of the Crown to her son Bharatha.

He was terrified and shocked.He hated her to the extent of saking her as Wife and Baratha as his son.

Gladly Rama accepted the forest life.
