அஞ்சிலே ஒன்று பெற்றான், அஞ்சிலே ஒன்றைத் தாவி,
அஞ்சிலே ஒன்று ஆறு ஆக, ஆருயிர் காக்க ஏகி,
அஞ்சிலே ஒன்று பெற்ற அணங்கைக் கண்டு, அயலார் ஊரில்
அஞ்சிலே ஒன்று வைத்தான், அவன் எம்மை அளித்துக் காப்பான்.

(பால காண்டத்தின் முதல் படலமான ஆற்றுப்படலத்தில் காப்புப் பகுதியில் அனுமனைத் துதிக்கும் இப்பாடல் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது.

Meaning:

The five refers to five boothas; namely Vayu, Water, Space, Land & Agni,

அஞ்சிலே ஒன்று பெற்றான், means, Hanuman is son of Vayu, one of the Pancha bootha

அஞ்சிலே ஒன்றைத் தாவி, means, Hanuman crossed Ocean, one of the Pancha bootha

அஞ்சிலே ஒன்று ஆறு ஆக means, Hanuman used Space as way for crossing, Space being one of the Pancha bootha

ஆர் உயிர் காக்க ஏகி means, Hanuman went to Srilanka to save the precious life of Sita Mata

அஞ்சிலே ஒன்று பெற்ற அணங்கைக் கண்டு means, seen Sita Mata the daughter of Earth, Earth being one of the Pancha bootha

அயலார் ஊரில் அஞ்சிலே ஒன்று வைத்தான், means, in the foreign land, Hanuman set Fire which is one of the pancha Boothas.
